last year, the washington post had their own march madness (not sure what month it was) where fans voted for their favorite characters and each week half were eliminated. the winner was desmond.
well, ahh shizzle, check this out: lost showdown . ABC copied the concept and set up their own brackets with the "best" scenes from each season going head to head. turns out they're already into the elite eight.
season one:
the crash vs. opening the hatch
season two:
the swan station map vs. desmond turns the key
season three:
we have to go back vs. charlie's sacrifice
season four:
desmond's call vs. ben moves the island (i have a HUGE issue with the ones they picked for this season- I'll add my thoughts on it later)

What's the problem with Desmond's Call in Season 4? That was great television right there. I agree that Ben Moves the Island is kind of weak. Ben telling Juliet, "You're mine," was so much more powerful.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'd like to know why the scene where Ben takes Locke to meet Jacob wasn't included for Season 3. I get chills just thinking about that scene.
my issue is that they did not include the final scene of season 4. the one with ben and jack (and the coffin). my god, i think that scene is one of most anticipated, chilling and well acted of the series.
